These harnesses are SOOO amazing!
A few weeks ago you went to great lengths to overnight 2 harnesses to me. The night I got them I took my 70 lb, 7 month old puppies for a spin and the difference was so remarkable I can't even put it into words.
It was a chore to take them both for a walk - it was physically challenging. When they wanted to greet another dog I literally had to use all of my body wieght to hold them to a slow pace - I couldn't actually stop them. I am not 100% certain what breed they are but I am guessing they have some Plott Hound and Viszla in them - so when they catch a scent they want to follow, all bets are off and getting their attention was impossible.
Now, it's a PLEASURE to walk them. They don't pull anymore and they walk right by my side - I even see them smiling up at me all the time now. It's ridiculous.

The leash itself is spectacular. It works!
We went to the pet shop to purchase one of the nose loop type halters when Hank was about 5 months old because he was pulling, choking himself and the sidewalks to our closest parks were always icy. They said they no longer sold those but how about one of these? It seemed expensive and we already had leashes but we needed something. A bolting 25 pound puppy on an icy sidewalk is not a fun walk. That night we looked at the website and saw people we knew using it so we fitted it on (we got the medium so we would have room to grow) and the next day we had a much jollier walk to the park. The leash itself is spectacular. It is big enough that you can still handle it with mittens on and comfortable on bare hands as well.
Another good point is that you can put blinkers on it for dark morning outings and they don't slip down and get hidden by fur. Hank is about 60 pounds now and nearly 2 years old and this is the best thing we have purchased for him. It works!"- Hank the Cow Dog

Wow. Just took my 100 lb GSD out for a fantastic walk! He has just turned 3 years old. I've always used a prong collar and wrenched his head/neck violently to try and get him to stop pulling. Never worked. I literally have torn both left and right rotator cuffs trying to get Max to heel, walk in sync. It's a sunny, 55º spring day. We went for a walk. After 10-15 minutes he was fine. A few corrections durng the walk, but he really gets it.

Your harness has changed everything.
I have a 40-lb female beagle-mutt named Heidi who has been a part of our family for about 3.5 years. She is boisterous, loving, and the most wonderful furry challenge that has ever come into my life. I know we have good communication, but she has never been a good leash walker. Even with professional training help, it just never really took the way I wanted it to. Distraction, pulling, tangling in my feet... even on our "good" days leashed walking is an unpleasant experience at best.
Your harness has changed everything.
I tried other harness - flexible "training" harnesses that pulled tight under her legs and rubbed her raw, rear-attaching "walking" harnesses that gave me better leverage to pull her back but never stopped her from pulling. I've tried leash techniques that were uncomfortable for both me and Heidi. Nothing took. But literally the first walk we took in your harness and Heidi stopped *herself* from pulling.
I was amazed, of course, but chalked it up to a new feeling and reserved my opinion. It's now a dozen walks later and she's STILL STOPPING HERSELF FROM PULLING.
I won't say it's like a different dog, because the Heidi in the Walk In Sync harness is the Heidi that we enjoy at home, or on our long country rambles - calm, composed, perfectly at ease by our side. I'm not ashamed to tell you that I tear up a little thinking about it.
We recently rescued two puppies from the humane society and you can bet that once they reach their full size, we'll be investing in two more harnesses. Thank you so much, from the bottom of my heart, for giving me the dog I always knew was in her.

We walked approximately 2 miles, and might I add 2 glorious miles with absolutely NO PULLING!
"OMG! Thank you Thank you Thank you! I received Ziva's chocolate brown harness and leash yesterday in the mail. Couldn't wait to try it out...Took it out of the box...put it on her without any trouble at all...just a couple slight adjustments on the straps for a nice secure fit for her and out the door we went.
We walked approximately 2 miles, and might I add 2 glorious miles with absolutely NO PULLING! It was such a peaceful, enjoyable walk...I was relaxed, Ziva was relaxed and we continued to stay that way from start to finish! As a note, Ziva is our beautiful 3 year old Vizsla who is leash trained, who knows her commands but wants to persist in pulling ahead anytime she thinks she can get away with it. She and I would both become frustrated with the walk 3 steps ahead and either stop or turn the opposite direction for her reminder that she was to walk next to my left leg not out ahead pulling like a sled dog. With this harness and lead she literally started out at my left leg and remained there....even after each stop/sit for cross streets....I was thrilled and I think once we returned home she was even much happier and relaxed then on previous walks. It was almost as if somehow she had had a burden lifted from her, that she no longer needed to be 'the front man' for our outings.

I've never enjoyed walking them due to embarrassment, being scared they would get out of harness or drag me down the street. I went from skeptical to sold! We are back to being a team again! I have my well behaved partner back!
My well trained 14 month old dog started walking too fast a couple of months ago. My dog is also my assistance partner (still in training) so this put me through a period of extra concern as I am usually so in tune with my partner but I somehow missed how/why/when this actually started. We take two walks daily and I started getting very tired of saying "slow".
I saw the ad for the Walk In Sync System but was very reluctant to buy it. The money back guarantee won me over. Plus Alecia's patience with my endless questions!
Upon receiving the system (2 days after the order was placed- very pleased with the service too) we set out for a short walk a few hours after. One test walk with my needing to stop a few times was pretty much all that was needed to take me from skeptical to sold.
Over this first week with the harness we are now back to his only starting to walk a bit faster on rare occasions again but the good news is he realizes it and self corrects so quickly that I don't have a chance to stop.
I have my well behaved partner back. Even long walks through the parks are peaceful again. And I can allow him to have the full length of the leash so he can sniff around and enjoy himself too.
We stop at least once daily during our walks at places he can safely run off leash. He has no discomfort doing so with this harness on. Walks are again fun for both of us.
Almost daily people would stop me to tell me how impressed they were watching me walking with my dog. We hadn't heard things like that during the period he had sped his pace up. Hearing those types of praise again is wonderful.
We are back to being a team again!
Today is a rainy day, so I put my dogs old harness on him to take him for a run at the off leash dog park. It gets muddy and I didn't want to mess up his new harness. I was impressed to see that he maintained his pace right next to me.
I think we are ready to clip the leash to the back of his Walk In Sync Harness now knowing I can quickly clip it in front if the need arises again.

Aloha Alecia Evans! We received the Walk In Sync system yesterday afternoon and have used it twice and love it! It takes the brain work out of leash training (maybe that should be one of your slogans...LOL). I feel much more sure of myself while walking Kimo and am not apprehensive when we encounter other people or dogs, which are always a huge distraction for our 76-pound loveable pup. Sure enough, no prong collar or anything, she went where I wanted her to...
My girl is a puller, and the only way for us to get her to stop pulling is by using the prong collar. I have tried normal collars, choke chains, harness's, and she pulls on all. She's a little over a year old and is getting bigger still and MUCH stronger! It's getting to the point where I can't fight against it.
My friend had a Walk In Sync Harness and I tried it out on her, cause they suggested it might work. Sure enough, no prong collar or anything, she went where I wanted her to, and was easy to control when she pulled.

A change was INSTANT from our first Walk In Sync.
We have a very high-energy 2 yr. old pekinese-poodle who did nothing BUT pull on his harness every time we would go out for a walk. The entire process was almost violent, and certainly not a good experience for anyone involved. It got so bad that we were hardly able to walk him because he was always choking himself and all he did was pull, pull, pull and show aggression to other dogs...NOT FUN.
We tried the "Walk In Sync" harness because it was recommended by a friend. In the first moment of our first walk with the new harness, a change was INSTANT...Our dog looked very confused, and had no choice but to walk directly next to me at my speed. I don't know what he was thinking, but I LOVED IT!!! As we went further, he learned he was no longer in control of our walk and had to rely upon me completely to set the pace. He was a quick learner though and within 30 seconds he realized he was having fun. His tail was up and wagging and he seemed to proudly march around directly at my side. We were actually enjoying a walk!

Alecia - Thanks for setting me up with your system last week. Took Jackson for a walk tonight with it for the first time. It was such a relief and it happened in 45 seconds. No joke.
Years ago we called Alecia to help our Maggie - who we had just adopted from the shelter - with some fear aggression while on walks and with other dogs. When Alecia arrived, our Riley - the other dog in the house - was more than excited to greet her at the door and practically knocked her over. Alecia immediately said, "Let's work with him, too". Riley was always so anxious to go for a walk and see everything. Pulling and whining and then combine Maggie with her fear aggression - walking was exhausting...for us humans and I don't think it did much for them either. Alecia's Walk In Sync™ Harness and Accu-Grip Leash design have been indispensible in this process.
My dog and I have met with Alecia once. I contacted her after becoming frustrated by my lack of control over my adult dog when we were out on walks or in new situations with new people. He was also showing some early signs of aggressive behavior that were confusing to me given his docile manner at home. Alecia suggested that it was an issue of confused boundaries. In other words, by skipping basic training and allowing my dog too much freedom as a pup, he had become convinced that, once out of the home, he was in charge. In order to remedy this confusion, we have "gone back to basics" and are working on mastering Sit, Down, Stay, and Come. We are also working on heeling while on our daily walks.
Alecia's harness and leash design have been indispensible in this process. With the harness, my dog is able to understand clearly the redirective signals I give him when he pulls. And the leash provides grips at intervals, allowing me to easily understand and track how much "lead" I am giving to him. Walking him has returned to being an experience that we both enjoy. He is learning not to pull and to look to me for cues of behavior. As for me, I'm able to set an uninterrupted pace that suits ME and just enjoy being outside!
